Ingeborg, Gisela and Delia are between 45 and 60 years old. They live, clean and dream in Berlin.

Being a young woman, Delia came from Argentina to Europe to become a painter. For twelve years she has been cleaning the flats of rich Berlin people. Beside the pride to be a good cleaner and the failure of her dream, because of the demands of reality, she tries to find her way.

Gisela Weiss, called “Weissi”, is the funny one in her cleaning crew, who makes the top-class boutiques shining at night. At home she lives in a well-organized routine with her still beloved husband of 35 years.

Ingeborg is attractive, but lonely and unemployed. The daily effort to fulfill her life causes her to search for a job as a cleaning lady and for a fiancé. "The Queens of Dust" is not a film about glittering fronts, but about the simple and powerful shine of three very normal people. They allow us an unreserved and open insight into all the ups and downs of their lives.
